MEET OUR CREW
Captain Frank, Captain Rick and Adrienne
Captain Frank Galati grew up on Anna Maria Island and has called this area home for over 40 years. Much of that time has been spent on these waters. Captain Frank’s charismatic and lovable personality ensures you’ll have a great time and will keep you coming back for more! Along with Captain Frank is Captain Rick. Captain Rick has also lived in the area for most of his life. Adrienne handles the marketing that brings it all together. They have been friends for over 30 years and with the launch of Shore Thing Tiki Cruises, have made their dream a reality.

I was born in St. Petersburg, FL but raised in Woodstock, GA. Florida was always my favorite vacation destination, however now that I’m lucky enough to call Florida my home, I look forward to cruises and attempting to snowboard in the mountains someday. Some of my favorite places on Anna Maria Island are The Waterfront Restaurant, Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub, Star Fish Company, Freckled Fin Irish Pub, and visiting the Coquina Beach Market. My hobbies include kayaking, volleyball, tennis, oil painting, rollerblading, hunting, fishing, taking my dog Roscoe to parks & beaches, grilling, scuba, darts, billiards as well as discovering new restaurants.
Captain Don
As the son of a US Navy Officer, boat handling and navigation have always been in my blood. Having been born in England and living all around the world gave me a great appreciation for what people from diverse backgrounds have to offer. In the mid-70’s, when my father left the Navy, we moved to Siesta Key in Sarasota, where kids were more likely to have a boat than a bike. Boating for some 50 years in the waters of Sarasota and Manatee Counties has given me a great appreciation for our natural beauty and wildlife; and the ability to share this with our guests is priceless to me.

My favorite restaurant on Anna Maria Island is Wicked Cantina. Some of my hobbies include going to the beach, trying new foods, and spending time with my family and friends.

I’m from Chicago, IL and moved to Sarasota, FL in 2015. My favorite vacation destinations is Anywhere! I love to travel. My favorite place on AMI is the beach, Feast Restaurant, and Star Fish Company. My hobbies include sports, rafting/kayaking, fishing, boating/sailing, gardening, biking, working out, reading, hanging at the beach, snorkeling, traveling, hiking/bouldering, and cooking. I like to do everything and anything fun.

Originally from Stockholm, Sweden. I have enjoyed living in sunny Florida since 1981, in Fort Lauderdale originally, but since 1988, here in Bradenton where I raised my 2 daughters. West Coast is the BEST coast! I love being on or by the water and feel fortunate to be able to enjoy a position as First Mate here and share my knowledge about the history of this area and our beautiful dolphins, manatees and other local wildlife!

Welcome aboard Magic Dolphin II, a custom built, one of a kind, floating tiki bar and lounge. Its 40 foot deck has the capacity to hold up to 44 guests and is equipped with the latest amenities. With a relaxed environment and everything you need to have a great time, it’s sure to be the best time you and your friends will have on the water!
Magic Dolphin II is fully equipped with all of the following, and more:
- Onboard bathrooms
- Comfortable booth-style seating – no bus seating like some boats
- Bluetooth compatible 600 watt audio system
- BYOB – food, beverages and alcohol and we’ll keep it cold for you in our large cooler stocked with ice and complementary bottled water
- Capacity for 44 people

CAREER PIVOT
Welcome aboard Career Pivot, a custom built, one of a kind, floating tiki bar and lounge. Its 30 foot deck has the capacity to hold up to 17 guests and is equipped with the latest amenities. With a relaxed environment and everything you need to have a great time, it’s sure to be the best time you and your friends will have on the water!
Career Pivot Is fully equipped with all of the following, and more:
- Onboard bathroom
- Bluetooth compatible 600 watt audio system that allows you to control the music
- USB charging ports to keep all your electronics fully charged
- BYOB – food, beverages and alcohol and we’ll keep it cold for you in our large cooler stocked with ice and complementary bottled water

NEVER 2 EARLY

With a relaxed environment and everything you need to have a great time, it’s sure to be the best time you and your friends will have on the water!
